Instructing Counsel and Senior Counsel FAQ

We have a legal team on criminal defence with diverse legal experience. We understand fees are a significant aspect of our clients. We maintain openness, transparacy and fairness when dealing with that. All fees are agreed in writing and nothing is hidden.

  • Instructing a barrister

Our lawyers may appear in Courts for our clients for bail applications, mitigations in sentence and trials at Magistrates' Courts and District Courts.

We have a wide network of connections with barristers. In suitable cases, we would advise our clients to instruct a barrister as advocate in Court. Barristers are specialists in advocacy in Courts. Our advice would be based on the offence of the case and client's budget.

  • Instructing a leading counsel ie a Senior Counsel

In suitable cases, we would advise our clients to instruct a senior barrister (professionally called Senior Counsel) as leading advocate in Court. Senior Counsels are leading specialists in advocacy in Courts. Our advice would be based on the offence of the case and client's budget.
