We have a legal team on criminal defence with diverse legal experience. We understand fees are a significant aspect of our clients. We maintain openness, transparacy and fairness when dealing with that. All fees are agreed in writing and nothing is hidden.

Criminal proceedings experience a certain degree of uncertainty on time frame and expenses due to third-party reasons: court or judges and barrister's fee if instructed. As responsible defence lawyers, we maintain the certainty and transparency principles on legal fees. All fees finalised to be paid would all be agreed in writing.
About legal spending:
- Our criminal defence lawyers charge a hourly rate ranging from $2000-$6000 per hour. Rate of fee depends on complexity of the matter and our lawyer's seniority and/or experience on criminal defence.
- In some cases, clients may want certainty. We may agree with clients on "fixed fee" or "lump-sum fee". Feel fee may only apply to fee on our part and based on certain assumptions.
- the spending incurred by our clients on criminal defence varies: from a few thousand dollars to over a million dollars.
- the total amount incurred depend on the length and complexity of the criminal charges and the factual matrix of the case.
- Cases at the lowest level of court i.e. Magistrates' Court generally incur the least legal fees. High Court trials incurr most as trials can run for weeks or months. The legal bill can run up to over a million dollars if senior counsel is instructed to argue in court.
